Production Area: Montepulciano.
Soil: pliocenic origin, layers of sand and clay, slope 15%
Wine training : Straight-line spurred unilateral 3571 vines per hectare. Age of vineyard, 9 years. Vineyard Orientation: North-East/South-West 
Production of grapes per hectare: 70 quintals. Grapes: Sangiovese 95%, 5% Colorino 
Microclimate: Favourable conditions with good day-night temperature ranges during the final stages of maturation. Absence of fog and humidity, ventilated position. 
Vinification and Ageing: vinified in small stainless steel vats with up and down manual mixings. Fermentation temperature 28-30 ° C, with a maceration of 12-15 days with floating hat. The malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously. 
Physical characteristics: lively red and clear, excellent overall consistency. The bouquet offers intense notes of cherry and wild strawberries, hints of carob, chocolate and tobacco. The mouth is warm and soft, fresh with male and vigorous tannins. Aged in Slavonia wood for 12 months in medium and small barrels and 6 months bottle ageing. 
Serving suggestions: red meat, polpettone Fiorentino, fegatelli, chicken, Fiorentina T-bone steak, Beans, stewed involtini, ribollita, pappardelle, dry cheese or caciotta. 
Serving temperature: 18-20 ° C. To be decanted in carafe before serving.
